Mission Statement
The mission of New Earth BioMed is to discover safer and more effective cancer therapies based on natural product mixtures. Our aim is reduce unnecessary suffering in patients and in communities. We are humbled by the complexity of life and in that spirit seek directions for medicine that are scientifically innovative, based on a holistic systems biology perspective, and compatible with sustainable social, economic, and environmental programs.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors for New Earth BioMed collectively represents a wide range of business, research, cancer patient, and life experiences. The Board is responsible for defining the strategic direction of NEBM and for setting its fiscal, human resource, and other policies. Board members are John Boik, Ph.D., Fredi Kronenberg, Ph.D., Jeff Perkins, Eric Schneider, and Steven Walters. Dr. Boik and Dr. Kronenberg have each been involved in the natural products field for two decades. Currently, Dr. Kronenberg holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Mr. Perkins and Mr. Schneider have operated successful businesses in emerging technology and human resource fields. Mr. Walters brings to the board his rich experience and advocacy as a cancer patient.
